Technical Analysis of COIN

Ok well here is my amateur attempt at analyzing the technicals of Converted Organics.

I love fundamental discussions of COIN. But the technicals also help give some guidance about what might happen to COIN shares and whether or not the outlook is bearish or bullish on an intermediate term basis.

So far what I have noticed is that the bull market started in coin around August 22, 2008. Since then we have done a double bottom and are trying to find direction.

Very notable on the weekly chart is the MACD histogram is coming close to a cross above zero line. That would put us into a bullish stance going into end of this year and beginning of new year 2009.

Ok now here is a weekly price chart of TASR Taser. Note how the WEEKLY macd histogram crosses the zero line and that is where the weekly price advance begins with TASR.

The chart has some similarities to COIN. Except COIN has not done a weekly bullish cross over and above the zero line.

So forward looking events we want to see are a bullish cross above the weekly down trendline and also a bullish weekly cross above zero line on the MACD.

The chart is suggesting that all of this should happen as we transition into the new year.
