Hi there, Am thinking to start trading gold online. I see a couple of online gold traders but not able to decide who is best. If any of you has experience in gold trading online, please post your experiences to help naives in this business.

Well to my knowledge there are a handful of ways you can play Gold but it really depends a lot on your risk profile and how you prefer to trade...

For example, a very easy way to participate in Gold is through the Gold ETF (Exchange Traded Fund) which is symbol GLD. You can trade that just like a stock at any time of the day.

There are also a couple of ETF's that give leverage on the gold price, for example double long or double short, DGP and DZZ. So that is an easy way to get double leverage in both directions on Gold Price.

Then another way to play gold is through a forex account where you can trade forex and also gold. I believe http://www.saxobank.com gives you that ability.

Then finally and probably for the most experienced traders you can trade gold futures with a margin account. You really need to know what you are doing before jumping into this method however as it requires strong discipline and money management because of the high leverage involved.
